Undergraduate Research Assistant Positions Available: Apply Now
The Lindroth Laboratory of Chemical Ecology is seeking undergraduate student
applicants for summer research assistant positions. Students will assist graduate
students and postdocs in various projects related to plant-insect interactions. Our
diverse research interests incorporate aspects of botany, entomology and
chemistry, with an emphasis on understanding mechanisms of plant-insect
interactions. Work will be conducted in field, common garden, and laboratory
settings. Projects planned for summer 2019 include investigation of impacts of
heavy metals on milkweed-monarch interactions, effects of genetic modification of
poplar on insect resistance, and effects of intraspecific competition on the genetic
structure of aspen stands.
